Overview
Impact on Sustainable Aviation e.V. is a non-profit association supported by more than 30 leading aviation lenders, aircraft lessors and industry stakeholders, working to accelerate aviation’s transition to a more sustainable future.
Led by Ulrike Ziegler, Impact brings together airlines, lessors, banks and wider aviation finance participants to build knowledge, foster industry dialogue and support more transparent, standardised approaches to emissions reporting.
Its work is focused on helping the aviation finance community better understand the complexity of aviation’s transition, make informed capital allocation decisions and assess the role of sustainable finance tools, including sustainability-linked loans, bonds, SAF, fleet renewal and carbon removal.
The challenge
Sustainable aviation is a fast-moving and highly complex space. For Impact, staying informed means tracking developments across regulation, sustainable finance, SAF, emissions reporting, airline transition strategies and emerging market standards.
With a large member base and a small internal team, Impact needed a reliable way to stay on top of developments without having to monitor multiple fragmented sources.
